Pump.fun has taken back the crown as Solana’s biggest memecoin launchpad. Over the past two weeks, it has pulled in more revenue and trading activity than any rival. Data shows Pump.fun grabbed about 62% of all revenue between August 4 and August 17—that’s close to $16.7 million. Trading volume also told the same story, hitting around $1.4 billion, or more than half of all Solana memecoin launchpad activity during that stretch. And while Pump.fun is back on top, many investors are already talking about MAGACOIN FINANCE. The revival comes down to one thing—tokens. Nearly 293,200 tokens were created on Pump.fun in just two weeks, accounting for two-thirds of all new Solana memecoins. That pace helped the platform reclaim ground it lost to Bonk.fun earlier in July, when Bonk.fun’s buyback program and BONK-linked incentives attracted thousands of users. At its peak, Bonk.fun pulled in over 600,000 new tokens in a single month, while Pump.fun lagged behind. Pump.fun’s fightback started in early August when it ramped up token buybacks. Since August 7, the launchpad has bought at least $1 million worth of its PUMP token almost every day, aside from one dip. Rumors of a possible PUMP airdrop and a public push from its co-founder also boosted attention. Together, those moves helped restore Pump.fun’s edge and investor confidence, with its revenue since January now standing at more than $814 million.
