The XRP Community Day in Tokyo is scheduled for early September, where CEO Brad Garlinghouse and President Monica Long will discuss Ripple’s history building on the XRP Ledger. CTO David Schwartz and SBI executives will also discuss the roadmap for institutional DeFi on XRPL and the bank’s Web3 vision, respectively. The XRP Community Day is coming to Japan, and some of the most important voices in the XRP ecosystem will take to the stage to discuss the XRP Ledger, institutional uptake, the industry’s future, and more. RippleX revealed the speaker lineup today, with CEO Brad Garlinghouse among those to headline the September 6 event. Garlinghouse is coming off a landmark victory over the SEC in court, where a Manhattan judge ruled that Ripple should pay $125 million to the SEC as penalties for some security law violations, down from the $2 billion that the watchdog initially demanded. Garlinghouse will share the stage with Monica Long, the Ripple President, to discuss the company’s history building on the XRP Ledger.
