Black Widow MCU Avengers and dinosaurs, that’ll do it. In the wake of the box office devouring of Jurassic World: Rebirth, its lead, Scarlett Johansson, has just broken a Hollywood record. Totaling up the movies that Johansson has starred in, she is now the highest-grossing actor (not just actress) in Hollywood, surpassing fellow Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson and Zoe Saldana. The movies she’s appeared in have made $14.8 billion at the box office. She’s also done it with a little more than half of Jackson’s movies, 36 films to his 71. Johansson’s role as Black Widow in the MCU, mainly, has propelled her to the top, along with her newly successful dino project. All of these records are usually set by the actor in question being part of an ensemble, and seven of the top 10 on the list are involved in Marvel projects in some way. As for women bringing in this much money, the top 20 list only includes Johansson and Saldana, first and fourth place, and Harry Potter’s Emma Watson at #16. So, how did Johansson do it?
