McFarlane Toys James Gunn’s Superman starring David Corenswet is being spotlighted on Superman Day Friday with a behind-the-scenes look at the film and the reveal of the superhero adventure’s upcoming toy line. Written for the screen and directed by Gunn, Superman, in which Corenswet plays Clark Kent/The Man of Steel, opens in theaters on July 11. The film also stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern and Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl.
