Torsten Slok of global asset management firm Apollo suggests in a recent note that the Fed may need to adopt a more hawkish stance in the near future. Slok also adds that the 1.7% increase in GDP is quite significant when the potential growth of the United States is estimated at 2%. According to the analyst, this increase in GDP is expected to stimulate demand and fuel inflation.
