Leading stablecoin issuer Tether will launch an artificial intelligence (AI) SDK platform to facilitate the integration of AI and cryptocurrency applications. Tether’s AI Tech Early today, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino announced the launch of the AI SDK platform on X. Built on the Bare JavaScript runtime, the AI SDK is compatible with various hardware systems, including embedded devices. The open-source platform aims to enhance the synergy between AI and crypto-related applications. These tools are expected to improve the accessibility of crypto transactions and create a more efficient and user-friendly experience. Previously, Ardoino shared details about another AI initiative by Tether, Tether Data, an AI model training platform. “This PaaS will be available to any company interested in (pre-)training its own models. As a bonus, at the core of this platform, we’re leveraging Holepunch’s technology for all data structures to make training and models highly resilient and unstoppable,” Ardoino stated. This AI model training platform is expected to be available via Northern Data Group, utilizing over 24,000 H100 GPUs.
