From psychological thrillers to the final chapters of beloved series, there’s plenty to look forward to binge-watching this fall. Kicking off the month is I Love LA, HBO Max’s new original comedy series created, written by and starring Rachel Sennott. The show follows a codependent, ambitious friend group as they navigate life and love in Los Angeles. The series also stars Odessa A’zion, Jordan Firstman, True Whitaker, and Josh Hutcherson. Over at Netflix, there are several must-watch series, including Season 2 of the hit reality competition Squid Game: The Challenge, where one contestant will walk away with $4.56 million. There’s also the second installment of the biographical comedy The Vince Staples Show and, perhaps the most anticipated release of the month: Stranger Things Season 5, Part 1. Netflix just dropped the official trailer for the fifth and final season, which kicks off in the fall of 1987. The town is under mandatory military quarantine, and Vecna is back, unleashing terrifying nightmares on the Hawkins crew. Series co-creator Matt Duffer teased to Netflix’s Tudum that the gang is “not experiencing normal life,” adding “nothing in Hawkins is normal anymore.” November is also the month of twisty psychological thrillers. All eight episodes of Peacock’s mystery drama All Her Fault — about a mother whose son goes missing after a playdate — drop on Nov. 4, so you can stream the entire season at once.
