Unlike fiat currency, Bitcoin’s supply is limited to 21 million, making it scarce and potentially a strong hedge against inflation. According to Lee, if BTC’s price continues to rise, it could increase the value of the Treasury reserves, thereby removing the government’s liabilities. “It’s going to be very difficult to fix the deficit with just changes in taxes and spending,” explained Lee, hinting at the limitations of traditional economic solutions.
