Truth Social to launch utility token for Patriot Package, which offers enhanced features such as ultra-fast streaming, premium content, and boosted comments.
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) is ramping up its crypto strategy with plans for a utility token and a new crypto ETF featuring assets like BTC, ETH, XRP, and SOL.

Truth Social, a social media platform established by U.S President Donald Trump, is on the brink of releasing a utility token that would help in boosting its user engagement policy.

The token will become part of a rewards program (based on loyalty) that will be offered at a higher subscription level, the Patriot Package.

Truth Social Eyes A Utility Token Launch

According to Truth Social’s official post, the new rewards system will be exclusive to Patriot Package subscribers. These rewards will directly depend on how actively users use Truth Social and its streaming partner, Truth+.

“In the near future, based on their level of engagement with the platforms, Patriot Package subscribers will accumulate gems on their Truth Social accounts. These will eventually be tied to a utility token on both Truth Social and Truth+,” the statement outlined.

These ‘gems’ will act as an initial incentive system. Later, they will serve as a bridge to the broader token economy being developed for the platform. The program seems to be directed towards the most devoted subscribers of Truth Social, as it helps them feel encouraged to use the platform regularly and interact with the content.

The announcement comes as part of an overall plan around the Patriot Package, which recently entered public beta testing. The premium tier offers several subscriber perks, including faster access to streaming services, an extended selection of on-demand videos, and added visibility through boosted comments and exclusive platform badges.

The company noted that subscribers will enjoy “ultra-fast streaming of premium news channels with a focus on non-woke content,” as well as “a Truth+ badge, a red checkmark, and exclusive features.”

TMTG Takes The Crypto Space By Storm

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company of Truth Social, in the meantime, has been busy in the crypto and digital asset space. It announced in April that it would launch a utility token that would supplement its digital ecosystem.

The company also launched a crypto-based exchange-traded fund (ETF) comprising such significant digital currencies as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Cronos, as mentioned in our previous story. 

To bolster the platform’s digital ambitions, Donald Trump Jr. recently acquired 350,000 shares of Thumzup Media, whose acquisition is reportedly worth $4 million. The investment aims to further strengthen the group’s crypto position, targeting assets such as Ethereum (ETH), Ripple’s XRP, Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Litecoin (LTC).

Although earlier speculation hinted at the launch of a meme coin by Truth Social, the company quickly refuted those claims, clarifying that no such token was in development.
