Sinners pulled off an impressive opening frame last weekend with $48 million in ticket sales from 3,308 North American theaters to seize the box office crown from A Minecraft Movie. The Jack Black and Jason Momoa video game adaptation dropped to No. 2, but its third-weekend take of $40.4 million from 4,032 theaters boosted its domestic tally to $343.8 million.
