Primary Mechanism

At its core, unagi uses a message protocol called unagi(x) to create a highly accessible omnichain that spans the on-chain and off-chain domains. This protocol overcomes the computational constraints associated with contracts that operate on certain blockchains by supporting decentralized off-chain messaging in addition to on-chain messaging.

This is accomplished through a decentralized validation approach that guarantees seamless, secure, on-chain and off-chain transactions across diverse networks. Unagi improves several blockchain-related processes by assisting dApps in finding the best routes, cutting costs, and providing gas fee delegation services.

Additionally, unagi(x) will lower entry barriers and enable the use of current smart contracts by initially supporting EVM networks and later expanding its compatibility to non-EVM contexts. Unagi connects eight significant blockchains, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Kroma (WEMIX L2 project), Optimism, Polygon, and WEMIX3.0.

Core Applications

The una Wallet, which offers a fast and secure wallet authentication service that enables users to find and manage assets of different chains as if they were kept using a single wallet, gives users access to the key unagi capabilities that underpin the omnichain.

Through reliable authentication techniques, it offers quick and secure access to these chains’ services and effectively administers assets on multiple chains using a single wallet. Unagi’s authentication will use Account Abstraction and MPC technology for unmatched speed and usability.
