Metamask Plans To Allow Users To Buy And Transfer Ethereum Using Paypal

The digital payment service PayPal has formed a partnership with ConsenSys, the parent company of MetaMask, to enable users of MetaMask to acquire and transfer Ether using the PayPal network.

According to the statement made on December 14, the service will initially be made available to just a limited number of PayPal customers located inside the United States. This is due to the fact that the United States is one of the main markets for MetaMask in terms of the number of users.

The goal of the partnership is to make it easy for people to buy ETH from PayPal and send it to their MetaMask wallets. They can do this by signing into their mobile MetaMask apps, after which they will be sent to their PayPal accounts to finish the transaction.

PayPal is one of a growing number of traditional payment services that are adding cryptocurrency to their services to make it easier for customers to join the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
